Last weekend we were having a little stroll around Itaewon when we fancied a drink. We were down the back alley of the Hamilton hotel and came across Bermuda Triangle. They had a sign outside for 1+1 mojitos!!! Never one to turn down an offer of a free cocktail we quickly made our way upstairs.
There is a cute and cozy atmosphere upstairs, which mismatched knick knacks everywhere and a very well stocked bar. Niall commented that they had a better collection of single malts than almost anywhere he has seen in Korea.
As soon as we sat down we were brought a bucket of garlic popcorn, so tasty and good. Beats those stale hoola hoops any day. I do love a free snack. I could have eaten this stuff all night.
The mojitos came promptly and were served in mismatched jars. As well as looking adorable they also tasted great. The cocktail menu had 100’s of options and I feel I could spend a very happy night there working my way through it. They weren’t the cheapest of drinks, around 10,000-15,000 but I’m happy to pay it for a well made drink. If you visit during 1+1 mojito happy hour they are a bargain. The tunes were great and they had a large TV screen to play the accompanying music videos.
They also had a small menu of bar snack items. In true fatgirl style I had to try something and went for the chicken quesadilla (15,000). It was good, perfectly balanced, and not too spicy.
Bermuda Triangle is located in the alleyway that runs behind the Hamilton Hotel. It is on the second floor above Loco Loca and opposite Baby Guinness. You can call them on 010-8774-9447.
