If you are an avid royalist and make it your business to be acquainted with everything the Windsor family do then you will know that last month Her Majesty The Queen celebrated her 90th birthday. This is no mean feat, and all around the world glamorous soirées have been planned to celebrate this momentous occasion, with Seoul being no exception.
The British Chamber of Commerce in Korea or BCCK for short is hosting a fabulous ball at The Grand Hyatt in Seoul on June 4th 2016. The ball will be a very glamorous black tie affair hosted in the the Grand Ballroom of the Hyatt, one of Seoul’s finest hotels. The event theme will only be revealed at the event but expect to eat and drink the best of British food and dance the night away to some of Britain’s greatest musical acts.
The tickets for the ball, which include all food and alcohol, are priced at 240,000 for members, and 260,000 for non members. If you are felling really flush you could also treat 10 of your best friends to a table for a mere 2,400,000. Like all of the BCCK events there will be a fabulous sponsored charity raffle which will have incredible prizes worth millions of won, and all proceeds will be donated to a worthy cause.
If you would like to buy tickets you can RSVP by email to firstname.lastname@example.org and purchase via bank transfer to Standard Chartered Bank 100-20-260-583. Yours truly will be hosting a Fat Girl’s table so if you would like to join me please mention Fat Girl when reserving your seat. It is set to be the event of the season and I personally can’t wait.
For those who are busy on June 4th the BCCK host a whole variety of monthly events including the incredibly popular BCCK Pub Nights held at The British Embassy Itself. Each event is hosted with a different theme, at the last Mexican Pub night event we enjoyed food from Vatos and drank cocktails supplied by Patron Tequila and Desperados. The pub nights usually cost around 30,000 – 40,000 per person and include food or drink. For more information about the next one you can find details on the BCCK facebook page along with any other information you may require about the ball.
