Twice a year the best neighbourhood in Korea plays host to the event of the season, the HBC Fest. All the local bars and restaurants have dozens of bands and singers playing sets. Each venue has its own schedule which you can find here, This year’s Festival is on today Saturday May 28th and tomorrow Sunday May 29th!

One of the best parts of the festival is the drinks stall that I co run with your favourite sandwicherie, Casablanca. if you’ve yet to try one of their amazing Moroccan sandwiches then you have seriously been missing out on life until now. They have also just added a few new items to their menu like an incredible lamb shakshuka.  On the drinks menu are my famous Vodka Lemonades, Cucumber Gin and Tonics, and my Sensational Sangria all for the bargain price of 5,000 won each. So be sure to stop by and grab a drink and say hi.

The festival is an awesome chance to see some bands, drink al fresco and grab some fantastic street food. It’s a great event for us all to come together and celebrate the summer!

My stand will be outside of Casablanca which is located at 44-8  Yongsandong 2 -ga, Seoul. To get to the HBC fest take a train Noksapyeong station(line 6) and come out exit 2. Walk straight and bear left at the kimchi pots. Keep walking up the road and you will see all the bars ahead of you.  Casablanca is on the left a few doors up from Phillies.
